Streamline - Lower Credit/Debit Card Transaction Fees
CREDIT CARD PROCESSING
A company with a credit card turnover of £75,000, currently paying 2% on credit card turnover, with BTAA preferential streamline rates would save over £550 per year on their credit card processing alone. (Please note the savings are calculated using a blended Visa and Mastercard credit card rate of 1.205% and are based on face to face rates only) ACCEPT CARDS – BUILD BUSINESS RBS WorldPay, the UK and Europe’s number one payment processor1 enables BTAA Association members to accept payments face to face, online, by phone or mail order quickly and securely. RBS WorldPay process all major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, standing orders, direct-debit style payments as well as local payment schemes such as Electron. Face to Face Payments Streamline is our face to face payment service handling half of all transactions in the UK, where 165 million cards are in circulation2. By offering more choice in how your customers can pay in a face to face environment you could turn browsers into buyers and encourage more impulse purchases, as your customers spending isn’t limited to the cash in their wallets or purses. Payments on the Move Streamline mobile terminals allow you to accept debit and credit cards wherever your business takes you. Perfect for exhibitions the mobile terminal uses the same tried and tested payment service as Streamlines’ fixed terminals, the major difference being the terminal is specifically designed for use on the move anywhere in the UK (subject to network coverage). Online Payments Streamline can also be combined with our online payment service to help securely process online transactions By expanding online, you can benefit by attracting a much broader or even global customer base, without incurring expensive overheads. E-identitycheck Credit checks Helps protect retailers against ‘card not present’ fraud. BTAA have arranged a rate of .65p with Experian. There is no initial set-up fee for members.
